The projects surroundings has to evolve and be more flexible. As all business need faster response time and we have to develop new ways to keep track of time and tasks to be performed. The concept of writing king size specifications up front are too slow. Requirements are changing all the time and we need to embrace any change at any time. Increasing development speed is no longer a dream scenario but a requirement. New agile methodologies is on its way forward. Process management and programming language has to support this fact.
- I want to do things simpler and faster
- I want to focus on small super-productive self thinking teams.
- I want to concentrate on using agile management methodology like Scrum.
- I want to work smarter instead of harder.
- I want to explore my new found interest in dynamic languages including Ruby.
- I want to go back to object-oriented programming paradigm.
- I want to make rich domain specific models.
